BIO
With roots in R&B/Soul, NOA draws inspiration from a plethora of styles including Hip-Hop, Funk, Jazz, and World genres to create a unique and powerful sound. Soulful vocals and electrifying live performances have earned her recognition in the Austin music scene, where she has been performing professionally since 2011.
The artist’s first album, In Your Dreams, released February 3, 2023 and features collaborations with notable Austin artists such as Grooveline Horns, D-Madness, and Tray God Tha MC. She has featured as vocalist and writer on several recent projects including Iram Reyes’ From Where I Stand (2023) and on Universal Seedz’s latest EP Rise Up (2020).
Viewing music as a deeply spiritual endeavor, NOA is dedicated to using her craft to represent raw authenticity that includes a genre-bending approach and cultural flexibility.
Stepping out of the box with her 2023 release, Ba Li features international producer CHR0N!AC, a Trap/Soul anthem that touts a message of looking deeper at available information, and not abandoning intuition.
Jumping genres with her Pop/Soul 2024 release, We End Up Dead, NOA attempts to speak to the division created by rising social injustice and collective political tension we are all experiencing worldwide. With so much arguing, violence and unrest the tune reminds us, how do we want to live? Here and now? Because we all end up dead.
Catch NOA live at her residency with her band N.O.A & The Goodest Ones every 4th Wednesday at Half Step in Austin, Texas.
